What is adrenal dysfunction?

The adrenal glands are responsible for fight-or-flight, meaning they help you respond to stressful situations or events.

Adrenal dysfunction, also known as adrenal fatigue, occurs when the adrenal glands do not produce adequate amounts of certain hormones, primarily cortisol.  When the adrenal glands are overworked due to chronic stress, illness, or other factors, they may become unable to meet the body’s hormonal demands. Symptoms of adrenal dysfunction can include chronic fatigue, body aches, unexplained weight loss, low blood pressure, dizziness, and depression. This condition can significantly impact your life, making it difficult to perform daily tasks and maintain the quality of life you deserve.

  • Low tolerance to stress.
  • Easily overwhelmed.
  • Severe Fatigue.
  • Difficulty sleeping or frequent waking.
